Labrax is a carbon monoblock speargun. Monoblock means that it is made from a single piece of carbon fiber, with no joints. Labrax has a good combination of stiffness and low weight. This gives Labrax great flexibility and makes it easy to track in all directions.
Labrax comes with Bleutec trigger housing and line release, which are made of stainless steel 316 aisi. The speargun is set up with 2 x 14.5 mm Bule power elastics and a 6.5 mm shark fin spear. The spear has three shark fins. Two at the end and one in the middle of the spear, to preload the elastics.
Remember: Compared to e.g. Sigalsub, MDV and other speargun brands are Bleutec speargun 8 cm longer. This means that a Bleutec harpoon on e.g. 85cm is actually 93cm. A Bleutec 95cm is 103cm etc. The length is always measured from the back elastic to the last shark fin on the spear.
