Learn to catch lobsters in the Limfjord – Kleinsub Lobster Course

When the calendar hits September, something special happens in the Limfjord. The water temperature drops, visibility increases, and conditions become ideal for one of the most exciting disciplines in underwater hunting: the hunt for black gold.

At Kleinsub, we invite you to a unique lobster course in the Limfjord, where you will have the chance to learn the techniques behind finding and catching the coveted shellfish.

Why September is the peak season for lobster hunting

When the water gets cooler, visibility improves, and it becomes significantly easier to spot both lobsters and their characteristic burrows. It is the perfect time to learn – and that is exactly why we are holding the course during this period.

What will you learn on the course?

The course combines theory and practice, so you will gain both knowledge and hands-on experience in the water. We will cover, among other things:

How to spot lobsters and their dens

Legislation and rules for lobster fishing in Denmark

Equipment tips – what you should bring to make the hunt easier and safer

Safety during diving – for both yourself and your companions

After an introduction on land, we will head out into the fjord, where the instructor will guide you in finding and handling lobsters the right way.

Catching your first lobster with your own hands is an experience you will never forget. The combination of excitement, technique and nature gives a very special feeling of success.

Whether you are new to underwater hunting or already have experience, the course is an obvious opportunity to improve, gain new knowledge and, not least, share the experience with other diving enthusiasts.
