The new MAGNUM SILVER rubber bands by CETMA COMPOSITES are manufactured with the same high-quality materials as the famous MAGNUM PLUS, which has already become a benchmark in the spearfishing industry. Unlike MAGNUM PLUS, the new MAGNUM SILVER bands feature a less reactive behavior, making them “intermediate rubber bands.”

Just like MAGNUM PLUS, pure latex rubber without additives is used internally to exploit the true outstanding properties of natural rubber. By contrast, most commercial rubber bands use natural rubber with additives (such as anti-UV agents), which actually reduce natural rubber’s performance. The MAGNUM bands solve this by combining a pure latex inner layer with a thin external UV-blocking black layer.

The MAGNUM SILVER delivers the performance of natural latex with smoother, less explosive power. For this reason, it is recommended for use with spearguns featuring simple propulsion setups (single, double, or triple bands) as well as invert roller systems.

4-Layer Structure:

  1. Outer Layer – A very thin, iridescent metallic silver coating that adapts its shade to blend with the surrounding environment.
  2. Second Layer – A black UV-protection layer to prevent deterioration over time.
  3. Third Layer – A grey layer made of high-modulus natural rubber, designed to improve knot resistance.
  4. Core Layer – 100% pure natural latex.

Thanks to this multilayer barrier structure, CETMA can use pure LATEX without additives, ensuring better performance and longer-lasting consistency than traditional bands.
