Freediving in Kreidesee

Freediving
Start your freediving journey with a Molchanovs Wave 1 course – the perfect way to get into freediving safely and with the right techniques. The course is also ideal for spearfishers who want to learn tools for diving deeper, staying longer, and keeping calm under water.

Hemmoor, Germany
From June 9–11, we are heading to Kreidesee, Hemmoor in Germany. This large freshwater lake was once a chalk quarry. Beneath the surface, you can still see roads and buildings from the quarry days. Over time, several objects have been added, including a truck, an airplane, and even a fiberglass shark. The location is excellent for freediving, with visibility often reaching 20–25 meters on good days. Kreidesee is only about a 3.5-hour drive from the Triangle Region of Denmark. All participants and instructors will stay together in a large apartment within walking distance of the lake.

Molchanovs
We are joined by two skilled instructors: Mathias Kolstrup and Christoffer Bøgedal. Mathias is part of Vejle Dive Club and certified as a Molchanovs instructor. Christoffer is based in North Jutland and affiliated with Freediving Aalborg. With them, you are in safe hands. They will guide you through everything you need to know to getd with freediving. During the trip, the full Wave 1 course will be conducted, and upon completion, you will be certified with the Molchanovs Wave 1 certificate. We always ensure one or two instructors are present, and the course is arranged to allow plenty of space at the buoy. You can read more about Molchanovs Wave 1 here.

Price
The trip costs 995 DKK, including accommodation and breakfast. The Wave 1 certificate costs 2995 DKK, paid directly to the instructors. The only additional costs are daily meals and access to the lake (€15). We recommend carpooling, which can be arranged in our Messenger group that you will be invited to after registration.

We have a limited number of spots available, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
